“Here we are again, happy as can be, all good friends and jolly good company.”
My dad used to sing this whenever we found ourselves at some new destination. We’d be on holiday, or on a day out. Sometimes he’d just sing it to remind us that here is were we are. He sang, and sometimes danced, to mark a moment in time he felt worthy of note. A good ritual, by any measure.
Somewhere out there you are living your life differently in order to protect the well-being of someone you will never meet. What an incredible time this is? Definitely a time worthy of note. Will you sing a song? Or do a dance? Or make some other ritual to mark that you are here on this day?
The 23rd February 2021
As this is an auspicious date for us, we’ve busied ourselves making you another edition of Bodge Zine. Liverpool Arts Lab organise and assemble the zine, but all credit must go to the contributors. Magickal time-travellers all. What a blessing that we get to share this journey together. Enjoy!
Order a print copy of Bodge #2 via our online shop. https://liverpoolartslab.bandcamp.com/merch/bodge-issue-2-february-2021
